SMM, February 26: Today, rare earth market prices remained generally stable. Specifically, the price of Pr-Nd oxide stayed between 449,000 and 451,000 yuan/mt, while the price of dysprosium oxide dropped to 1.72 million to 1.74 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, the price of terbium oxide rose to 6.26 million to 6.3 million yuan/mt. Prices of gadolinium oxide and holmium oxide remained stable at 164,000 to 166,000 yuan/mt and 464,000 to 468,000 yuan/mt, respectively. Erbium oxide saw a slight increase, reaching 295,000 to 299,000 yuan/mt.
In the metal market, the price of Pr-Nd alloy remained at 549,000 to 553,000 yuan/mt, while the price of dysprosium-iron alloy fell to 1.68 million to 1.71 million yuan/mt. The price of terbium metal rose to 7.82 million to 7.86 million yuan/mt. Gadolinium-iron prices remained stable at 160,000 to 163,000 yuan/mt, and lanthanum-cerium metal prices stayed at 17,000 to 19,000 yuan/mt. Currently, rare earth prices show signs of stabilization. Upstream suppliers continue to offer firm quotes, but due to limited downstream order releases, most enterprises are purchasing as needed, resulting in relatively sluggish market transactions. In the short term, rare earth prices are expected to follow a fluctuating trend.
